The September 11th bombings in the the United States was a horrific crime against the Nation and Mankind.  The terrorist attemtps to immobilize this country has and will continue to fail.  Phil has had dozens of letters from all over the USA and the overall response has been anger rather than fear.  To be denied one's vacation is to be denied one's freedom and this is what the United States stands for.  We want to thank the September and October charters for not cancelling and we hope that you enjoy this report.

If you have followed our last year of fishing reports, you may have noticed that Phil in PV seems to wear a blue floral shirt and the SAME hat all of the time.  Are ALL fishermen so supersticious?  On Phil's only 'strike out' charter this month, he sported a super brand new baseball cap and  T-shirt, gifts from Melanie and Ed Morrison and this did not prove to be a fruitful day.  Another fact, on this same day I was unchained from my computer post and was invited along.   So Phil in PV has a big dilemma, was it the hat, the T-shirt or the woman?  It certainly was not Ed and Melanie, who had 3 other successful charters this month.  To be on the safe side, Phil is using the baseball hat for non-fishing days, ditto the T-shirt, and the woman is not likely to get back on a boat for the rest of her life.
